On my way to an appointment I drove by a turtle that was slowly attempting to get across the road, and realized that there was a good possibility that this little, helpless, turtle was going to have a bad ending to its day if I didn’t turn around and help it. I didn’t have much time to spare if I was going to arrive at my appointment on time and almost kept going, but decided to go back and help my little friend.
I begin to think about how I myself compared to this little, helpless turtle in God’s eyes. I have a few thoughts I’d like to share about my experience of helping this little turtle. I’m amazed at how God can speak to us through the most simple things that happen in our life if we allow him to…….
1st – God has time for us.
2nd – God protects us.
3rd – God directs our path.
4th – God delights in taking care of us.
I hope these few thoughts help you to be more thankful for how God cares for you and gets you thinking about ways you might minister to others in this difficult world we live in.
