The mission of Ken the Fit Guy is to promote health in all of its facets. I believe that there are six types of health that we should all work to maintain:
Physical Health
This is the most literal meaning of the word “health.” Our bodies can do some amazing things, but only if we take care of them. I know what it’s like to struggle with physical health due to my own battle with cancer. But I also know from personal experience that with proper nutrition, exercise, rest, and care, physical health is not only possible, but attainable!
Spiritual Health
As important as physical health is, we are not just our bodies. We also have souls, and it is important that we keep them healthy as well. With the right attitude and spiritual habits, we can each maintain a healthy spiritual life. As a pastor, I have a lot of experience guiding others to a deeper relationship with God.
Emotional Health
What happens to us throughout our lives is only part of the story. The other part—the most important part—is how we react. Learning to cope effectively with the world around us and manage the ups and downs of day-to-day life are important parts of being healthy. Fortunately, there are methods we can learn to improve our emotional health, and I’d like to show you how.
Mental Health
The world is finally beginning to realize the importance of ensuring that one’s mental health is intact. Regardless of the stigma, we all experience times of mental anguish. Mental health isn’t an issue for only a select few; it’s important for us all. Maintaining a healthy mind and knowing what to do when we notice warning signs is a key part of one’s overall health.
Relational Health
No one is meant to do life alone. In fact, it’s impossible to live a healthy life without having healthy relationships with friends and family. Because no one’s perfect, we can’t be good relationship partners 100% of the time. But there are steps we can take to get our most cherished relationships to a healthy place and keep them there. I would love to share some of them with you.
Financial Health
We spend so much of our lives worrying about money. How much more happy, how much less stressed, how much more healthy would we be if we were better at managing our finances? It has more of an impact on your overall health than you might think. Getting a grip on your financial health can take you a long way, and I’m here to help.
